Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Mobile Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.

Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Toto r’s paws appeared to be red and inflicted with injuries. The toenails had been cut too near to the paw which probably triggered his biting response."


Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.

Rachel took Toto straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.

Rachel described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas is a Wow! My Dog customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel revealed, "Juliann informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these read more allegations. However, when questioned about Wow! My Dog, she quickly asserted that it was a separate entity before abruptly ending the call.
